Biography
Asher Elson enters his second season as a member of the Cold Hearts with lofty expectations as he played a major role in helping the team to their surprise run to the semi-finals. Elson comes into the 2025-26 season ranked 133rd in the class of 2026, according to 247Sports Composite rankings. In his first season with the Cold Hearts, Elson averaged 10.0 PPG, 4.6 RPG and 0.9 SPG in 21.8 minutes per contest. Elson had some big moments in the playoffs for the Cold Hearts, including scoring a postseason-high 18 points and seven rebounds against the Dreamerz in Game 1 of the Semis.
Outside of OTE Competition, Elson was selected to play on the Generals at the 2025 Nike Hoop Summit. He also competed on the Overtime Elite team at ANGE this summer, where he started every game and averaged 10.0 PPG, 3.3 RPG and 1.3 SPG. He spent the summer playing for the NY Rens on the Nike EYBL circuit alongside new OTE player Anderson Diaz.
