Biography

2023-24

After a quiet regular season, Ralph Martino Jr. blossomed in an expanded role for the Cold Hearts in the playoffs. Over six playoff games, Martino Jr. averaged 6.3 PPG and 2.3 RPG while shooting an outstanding 50.0% from three-point range on 2.5 attempts per game. Martino Jr. had his strongest outing in the win-or-go-home Game 3 of the quarterfinals series against Jelly Fam when he went for 13 points and five boards, which included a perfect 4-for-4 from inside the arc. He followed that performance with another impressive showing in Game 2 of the semis against the City Reapers when he scored 11 points and hit three out of four of his attempts from long range.

2022-23

Was traded two times during the regular season going from the Cold Hearts to the City Reapers and then back to the Cold Hearts to finish out the season. Played in 15 games during the regular season. He scored in 11 of the 15 games he saw action in. Pulled down a rebound in 11 games. Averaged 2.5 points per game while playing 11.5 minutes through the 15 games.

Prep

Ralph Martino Jr., a senior from Lanham, MD, signed a scholarship with Overtime Elite. He made his OTE debut on Friday, December 2nd, airing live on Amazon Prime Video. The 6’6” combo guard brings instinctive playmaking and dynamic finishes at the rim to a highlight-reel ready Cold Hearts squad. Over the summer, Martino played with Team United and most recently played at Shabach Christian Academy. Last season, he was honored by being named 6A First Team All-District and First Team All-Region.
