Biography
Moustapha Diop enters his second season at OTE after being traded from the City Reapers to RWE in the offseason. Diop comes into the 2025-26 season as the 84th ranked player in the class of 2026, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings. Diop served as the backup big man for the Reapers during the 2024-25 season, averaging 11.2 PPG and 11.7 RPG per 40 minutes. In the series clincher over Fear of God Athletics in the semi-finals, Diop had his best game of the season, logging a career-high 11 boards and two blocks in 20 minutes on the court
Prior to joining OTE, Diop was named to the Sophomore All-American Third Team by MaxPreps in 2024. He played on the U18 Overtime Elite team at the adidas Next Generation Tournament in the summer of 2024 and attended adidas Eurocamp in 2024. He spent the summer playing for Game Elite on the adidas 3SSB circuit. Diop is committed to play collegiately for the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets.
