2023-24

Freshman Jayden Wilkins was one of the league’s premiere shooters and best underclassmen and as such he was named the winner of the Next Up award which is given to OTE’s best underclassmen. During the regular season, Wilkins averaged 6.6 PPG on 1.8 made threes per game on a 38.8% shooting mark, the eighth best in the league. Wilkins took home an OTE Player of the Week award thanks to a nuclear performance against Rolling Loud in which he scored 23 points, including 20 straight points to close out the game. Wilkins' seven triples in that performance are tied for the second most in a game this season.

Wilkins started all nine games of the postseason for RWE and put together averages of 2.6 PPG, 1.0 RPG and he shot 41.2% from three, the sixth best mark of any player in the playoffs. His strongest playoff performance came in Game 3 of the OTE Finals against the City Reapers, in which he scored six points, on two made triples, while also dishing out three assists and ripping down two boards in the RWE win.

Prep

Jayden Wilkins is one of three freshmen attending OTE this season. Even though it’s his first season officially at OTE, Jayden practiced with the Cold Hearts last season and appeared in a couple of games His dad, Damien Wilkins, is the GM and Head of Basketball at Overtime Elite The family has a deep basketball history. His great uncle Dominique Wilkins is a basketball Hall of Famer and his dad had a 10-year NBA career.
