Biography

2022-23

Alex finished his first season at OTE losing in the Championship to the City Reapers. Voted Second Team All-OTE for his season with the YNG Dreamerz. Averaged 11.1 points and 6.4 rebounds per game during the regular season. Named OTE Player of the Week twice during the season. Posted two double-doubles during the season. Scored in double figures eight times throughout the season. Posted a career high 21 points in the second last game in the regular season. Shot 30 percent from three this season, improving from his first season by 21 percent from the outside. Scored double figures twice in the playoffs and pulled down double-figure rebounds once. Closed the regular season scoring in double figures in five of six games.

2021-22

During his first season at OTE in 2021-22, Sarr was a force down low finishing second in the league in BLK% (4.1%) and averaged 3.0 blocks per 40 minutes. Over the summer, he played with France in the 2022 World Cup for the U17 French National Team.

Before OTE

Before coming to Overtime Elite, Sarr played in Spain for Real Madrid’s Cadet A Youth Team. He also had stints with Toac (2014-16, 2019), Union Brugieres Basketball Club (2018-19), Labege Auzeville Club (2017-18), and Tropkclub Toulouse (2016-17).
