The OSL Falcons stole the night at OTE Arena with a huge 100-83 over the Cold Hearts on Amazon Prime with huge performances from Ty-Laur Johnson and Christian Jones. Johnson had a huge second half finishing with 29 points and Jones was right behind him with 28. They had an answer to every run the Cold Hearts tried to make in the second half before pulling away in the fourth quarter.
After having a nine-point lead at halftime, they pushed that lead to 18 in the third quarter. The Cold Hearts cut it to six in the fourth quarter, but the Falcons responded with a run to end the game to secure their second victory of the season.
Naasir Cunningham led the team with 22 points and Rob Dillingham had 17 and seven assists.
In the second game of the night, the City Reapers made quick work of the Hillcrest Bruins winning 105-73.
They led by 18 at the half and came out in the third quarter and outscored the Bruins by 17.
Ryan Bewley led the team with 23 points and seven rebounds. Eli Ellis had his biggest night as a City Reaper with 22 points. He hit six threes on the night. Amen Thompson had 17 points and Ausar Thompson had 16 points with seven assists.
Tomorrow night, the City Reapers will take on the OSL Falcons at 6 p.m. on Amazon Prime and then the Cold Hearts will play the Hillcrest Bruins at 8 p.m.
