After Thanksgiving break, Overtime Elite will resume its regular season this Friday, December 2 at 7 p.m. The Cold Hearts are set to play the YNG Dreamerz on Amazon Prime.
It will be the second matchup between the two teams this year with the Dreamerz taking the first game 92-84. Both teams have extremely good guards that are capable of taking over the game, but in the first matchup it was the big men that made a difference on the glass led by Jahzare Jackson with 10 rebounds.

Bryce Griggs and Jahki Howard have each been named the Overtime Elite Player of the Week.
Two weeks ago, Bryce Griggs was named the OTE Player of the Week after posting a triple double last week against the OSL Falcons in the Bronx.
With his team battling through some injuries, Griggs posted 18 points, 10 assists and 10 rebounds in a 101-86 victory. He is the second player in Overtime Elite history to have a triple double.
Griggs is currently averaging 17.5 points and a league leading 8.5 assists per game.
The City Reapers played a game last week getting a 25-point win on the road at the Hillcrest Bruins. A big part of that victory was Jahki Howard scoring a career high 25 points against the Bruins.
Howard led the league averaging 17.7 points in the preseason with a 29 point game and a 30 point game.
City Reapers Stay Undefeated Through First Month of Season
The City Reapers are the class of the league so far sitting at 4-0 through the first month of the season. Before Thanksgiving, they traveled to Phoenix to play the Hillcrest Bruins and made quick work out in the desert winning 109-84.
Jahki Howard, the current OTE Player of the Week, led the way with 25 points. Four other players scored in double figures including Ryan Bewley, ZZ Clark, Ausar Thompson and Amen Thompson.
The game was never in doubt as the Reapers led by 25 at halftime cruising to the victory.
The Dreamerz will look to get back on the winning track this Friday against the Cold Hearts. In their last game, they took their first loss of the season to the City Reapers.
Bryson Warren is leading the way averaging 17.5 ppg scoring in double figures every game this season, but the story on Friday could be the big men down low. Matt Bewley has been a force down low for the Cold Hearts averaging 11.3 rebounds per game and a league leading 4.3 blocks.
The Dreamerz have four talented big men in Izan Almansa, Nathan Missia-Dio, Alex Sarr and Jahzare Jackson. In the first matchup against the Cold Hearts, the Dreamerz outrebounded the Cold Hearts 52-42. Jackson, Almansa and Sarr combined for 15 of the Dreamerz’s 26 offensive rebounds in that game.
In the first meeting, Matt Bewley had the most rebounds with 13, but Jackson had the biggest impact with 10 of his own to lead the Dreamerz.
The Cold Hearts are leading the league averaging 95.0 points per game this season by scoring over 100 in the last two games.
Bryce Griggs leads the team averaging 17.5 points per game, but the team is very balanced scoring with seven players averaging double figures. They have five players averaging at least 14.0 points per game. A big part of that is how quickly they push the pace. They’re second in the league averaging 92 possessions per game. The Cold Hearts are 1-1 in games they score triple digits.
In the first game between the Dreamerz and Cold Hearts, the script was flipped on the Cold Hearts as the Dreamerz held them to 92 possessions while having 94.
