Rob Dillingham has signed a scholarship to join Overtime Elite for the league’s second season that kicks off Friday, November 4, streaming live on Amazon Prime Video at 7pmET.
“I couldn’t be more excited to join OTE,” Rob Dillingham said. “The team and resources they offer are amazing and this is an incredible opportunity to continue to develop my game and take it to the next level, while competing against elite talent.”
The point guard previously played for Donda Academy. Dillingham recently played at OTE on its Opening Night powered by GMC and showed why he’s one of the best high school players in the country after scoring 36 points and having five rebounds, four steals and three assists. The consensus top-10 prospect is committed to Kentucky.
“We are excited to recruit Rob Dillingham to our league,” says Tim Fuller, VP, Recruiting and Player Personne, Overtime Elite. “He brings an elite knack for scoring and an infectious passion for the game. His shiftiness and incredible speed with the ball make him slithery agile with the ball in his hands.”
It’s been a busy week for OTE with yesterday’s announcement of a multiyear agreement giving Amazon Prime Video exclusive global streaming rights to 20 live OTE games per season for the next three seasons, making Prime Video OTE’s first global media rights partner. In addition to broadcast rights, Prime Video will exclusively stream a season-long unscripted series set to debut in mid-2023.
OTE begins its regular season tomorrow (Friday, November 4), and the 7pmET game will be streaming live on Amazon. Dillingham’s team will be announced Saturday.
