City Reapers and YNG Dreamerz Cruise to Victories at OTE Arena

The City Reapers and YNG Dreamerz both got wins at OTE Arena on Friday, December 9.

The City Reapers stay perfect, moving to 6-0 on the season with the a 110-93 victory. They briefly set the OTE scoring record with 110 points. Amen and Ausar Thompson were sensational again as Amen led the team with 23 points, eight assists and seven rebounds and Ausar had 23 points, nine rebounds and five rebounds. Johned Walker showed out as well with 20 points, seven assists and five steals.

The Reapers came out on fire offensively and defensively leading 34-19 after the first quarter. They didn’t let up after that with constant pressure. In 24 minutes of playing time, Walker was +32 and Amen was +30 for the game.

Trey Parker led the Cold Hearts with 21 points hitting six threes. Four other players scored in double figures.

The OTE scoring record wasn’t safe for long as the YNG Dreamerz absolutely went off in their game against the Hillcrest Bruins winning 121-85 moving their record to 6-1.

Bryson Warren once again led the team with 22 points, but there were two other players that scored over 20 with Kanaan Carlyle having 21 and Jazian Gortman had 20. Seven players scored in double figures.

The Bruins kept it close only trailing by three after the first quarter, but the Dreamerz scored 30-plus points the rest of the way. They outscored the Bruins by 17 in the second quarter and never trailed again.

Izan Almansa had a double double with 10 points and 15 rebounds. Warren and Gortman also had seven assists to go along with their 20-point games.

Jordan Burks on the Bruins had a big night 32 points and eight rebounds.

The City Reapers will be back in action tomorrow as they take on the Bruins at 7 p.m. on Amazon Prime.
