After the final week of the regular season, Tyler Smith has been named OTE Player of the Week.

Smith averaged 19 points and nine rebounds throughout the week where the Cold Hearts went 1-1. He helped the Cold Hearts cruise past the Bruins by 22 points before dropping a close matchup with the City Reapers.

The Cold Hearts are going up against the Bruins again this weekend in the first round of the playoffs. They’ll play on Friday at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 6 p.m.

Tyler Smith played some of his best games this season against the Bruins averaging a double-double with 17.7 points and 11.7 rebounds per game. In the second game of the season, he had a career high with 15 rebounds.

He’ll look to recapture that magic against the Bruins to help the Cold Hearts advance to the semi-finals.
