Overtime Elite Shows Out with Big Wins in Phoenix

Overtime Elite traveled to Phoenix Prep to play in a prep series this weekend and Friday night they took on Phoenix Prep, Phoenix Prep’s PG and Dream City.

OTE’s teams went 2-1 with Team OTE and Team Overtime dominating, but did suffer one loss today as Team Elite dropped its contest with Phoenix Prep.

The two point leaders tonight both came on Team Overtime as Dominick Barlow poured in 20 and Jai Smith was right behind him with 19.

De’Vontes Cobbs returned to Arizona and played in front of a bunch of family and friends. He finished with 12 points and five rebounds.

OTE will play three more games tomorrow against Phoenix Prep, Belle Vista Prep and Dream City. First game starts at 5 p.m. ET.

Team OTE 80 vs. Phoenix Prep PG 57

After a slow start, Team OTE used a huge second quarter to take a 15-point lead into halftime.

From the second quarter into the third quarter, Team OTE went on a 35-4 run to blow the game wide open.

The team had 15 assists on 25 made field goals. Five players scored in double figures and a sixth had nine points.

Amen Thompson and Matt Bewley both led the way with 16 points.

Team Overtime 82 vs. Dream City 47

Team Overtime wasted zero time jumping out to a lead and cruising to the biggest win in OTE history.

They put on an absolute show with dunk after dunk. They matched an OTE record with 22 assists as a team. For the third time, Jean Montero had 10 assists.
